Barcelona City Council and Pensium have formalized a collaboration agreement to offer solutions to families of elderly people in situations of dependency.

The objective is to promote the Pensium program as a safe and accessible alternative that makes it possible to cover the costs of residential care without having to sell the home, facilitating immediate access to professional care.

Thanks to this agreement, homes included in the Pensium program may be incorporated into the affordable rental housing pool, thereby helping to expand the supply of affordable housing in the city.

Additionally, homeowners may access financial aid for home renovation, provided that their properties become part of the social housing pool.

This agreement reinforces Pensium’s social mission: to provide sustainable solutions for families while also contributing to access to affordable housing and the improvement of the city’s housing stock.
